To work in the restricted zones of a UK airport, you will need an 'airside pass'. An airside pass can only be issued when you have provided your exact whereabouts and activity during the last 5-years (including overseas). There should be no unaccounted periods inbetween dates longer than 28 days.
The reference checker enables you to complete your 5-year history, and shows any unaccountable periods which would affect your ability to acquire an airside pass. Only an employer can apply for an airside pass on your behalf, and they will require full contact information such as addresses, telephone numbers and contact names for the reference details you provide.
